2010 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Abbott-O-Rabbit Little League (AOR) is a Chartered Little League franchise of Little League Baseball Incorporated and operates under the rules and regulations of Little League Baseball, Inc. AOR is a member of Alaska District 1 Little League in Little League's Western Region and serves the community of South Anchorage. AOR is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Tax ID: 92-0081254) and donations are tax deductible.
Our office is located at the corner of O'Malley Road and Lake Otis Boulevard in Ruth Arcand Municipal Park. We have use of the facility at Ruth Arcand Park via a Cooperative use Agreement with the Anchorage Department of Parks & Recreation and use of the Harman facility via an agreement with the Alaska State Department of Transportation.
In our baseball program, we offer T-Ball, Coach-Pitch, Minor, Major and Junior level divisions and in our softball program, we offer Minor, Major, and Junior level divisions. In 2010, we are serving about 600 youngsters. The objective of the league is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority. We strive to provide modern facilities in which to effectively teach baseball and softball skills while focussing on fair play and sportsmanship.
